Simple Delights.
Kelly Pelfrey launched a series with us called Simple Delights and she straight put all of our hearts in a place of sweet reminder that sometimes the simple things are the answer. A drink of tea on a porch with an old friend, a set table in anticipation of a dinner with family, or a cold piece of fruit on a summer day are all so simple but yet so delightful.
Jeremiah 9:24 talks about what the Lord delights in... lovingkindness, justice and righteousness. While we will never be able to understand fully, we can delight in those things too. We can love our neighbor, fight for justice, and hold tight to righteousness in our every day actions.
Quarantine got to most of us...am I right? And now we are left in the wake of the unknown with mask-lines and bottles of sanitizer in hand, BUT, we can use our lives and the simple delights in them {Like a plate of shrimp cocktail as pictured above} to find joy. Kelly's Simple Delights collection reminds us that the simple brings joy every time!
Her beautiful blues and whites surrounded by hydrangeas {above} reminds us of a peaceful afternoon in a sunroom. Her champagne toast {below} reminds us of an accomplishment of the past.
